Moments before he took his own life, a Wilmington man who had already killed his wife and five children told his brother-in-law, "I killed them. They are dead and I'm next. ... You'll see it on the news pretty soon," a detective said Wednesday.
With his three daughters, two sons and wife lying dead around him, Ervin Lupoe, 40, then faxed his suicide letter to a television station and called 911 Tuesday morning, breaking down as he spoke to the operator, Los Angeles police homicide Detective David Cortez said.
