When I heard the other site finally added a front page, I went over to check it out.
It seems good, like PoEN in the old days. There are a lot of informed and knowledgeable people discussing important issues not generally covered by the mainstream media. I would recommend it for anyone looking for stimulating discussion. |

I've been fairly ambivalent about Bo since it's been just as dead as this site if you don't count all the posts about forum rivalries, but having a new source that isn't a cesspool like Reddit means I'm actually going to start reading it. |

I've been around since my freshman year of college.
I've been on PoE since before the War on Terror.
I've been with PoE since before I met my wife or got my cat.
I've learned a bit and have been able to take what I learned here out to the real world.
But it's been dying, and those with interesting things to say have left.
I never really had interesting things to say, so I reckon it's my time to go, too.
It's been a great decade, PoE.

An update to my accounting saga

The former accountant has not yet been arrested. It was pissing me off. The cop handling the case called me a while back to say that they finally issued an arrest warrant, but that was a year after we had finalized the criminal complaint. Nothing since then.
I've been doing a little internet research for the former accountant. She's pretty successfully erased her existence from the internet, along with her family. For the most part.
She used some of her ill-gotten gains to buy some purebred
