RE: What's art?

I'm a bit burnt out on art. I've always been into dadaism and surrealism. But haven't seen anything "new" lately. Or more to say I've been a bit uninspired myself. So, I have nothing borderline to show you.

However, I did go to the Di Rosa recently which I found to be one of the best art collections I've ever seen in one place in my life (www.dirosaart.org). I also visited Clayton Bailey's studio (http://www.claytonbailey.com/) which I found to be pretty awesome.

But those are all nothing really new and just things I like to look at.

You may be just in the wrong crowd or setting. Burnt out from hanging around too many lame people who will never "get" art. I live in Northern California so I'm around a ton of "Burners", "Makers" and "Steam Punkers" who turn all the Art I like into a cliche. They make "Art" to be part of something rather then just be.
