Awright, Kumquat, I got the thing. Now quit bitching and clue me in, here. Repomancer 03/13/10, 09:25 | 0 | The mayhem factor looks high, and the game looks pretty good visually too. I of course ignored the recommended settings and jacked almost everything all the way up. Still have a stompin' framerate -- this computer is a hoot.
Anyway, cluage needed for:
Like - servers? That are kindly to a n00b with 40% of a hand but a kind heart (for everything except zombies, natch)? Where do you rabble go to kill that which is already dead?
What sort of game do people play? Versus? Co-op? Survival or whatever it's called?
The shotgun / axe combination seemed to work well for me, but that was with the software party. Grenade launchers and things were fun but you really need someone laying down a short-range barrage to avoid getting your brain eaten. In actual multiplayer, does the party usually have a mix of heavy weapons types stirred in with the shotguns and rifles or is it smarter just to stick to more general weaponry (i.e. shotguns, rifles)?
Zombies seem much like the frogs in Serious Sam in that they're easy to kill but there's a million of them and they keep coming. Is that true in multiplayer, and if so how does it work from the zombie player's side? Fast respawns or what?
Can I play as one of those zombies with the long tentacle-things and come up behind you and suck your brain out through your ear-hole? 'Cause that would be the BEST. | | Next | Reply - Reply With Quote | | | | |
