(shocking, I realize)

Some of it pretty good, a lot of it meh, some of it pretty bad. I quit reading The Ringworld Throne when it became clear that he (and his co-author - why do the old SciFi giants always cozy up with a co-author who wants to shit up old books?) was more interested in describing how sex was currency and deal-sealer every four pages.

The Integral Trees was good, The Smoke Ring not quite so much. His older short stories are OK. The whole Known Space arc is a good read.

Anyone else?
