You're reading a thread and a comment is made. Another regular then insults them because they have some sort of petty personal grudge (most of the motivation for posting anything lately it seems). The thread then devolves into the two of them going back and forth for 20 posts with the occasional third-party helping heap derision on one or the other. I've noticed I unintentionally started glossing over any thread where that happens until other posters start interjecting again and I resume with the hope that something worth reading is finally being said.
