Quickest game overs?

0 | The video in the hopper over on POETV made me think about games with a quick start-to-untimely death. What are some good ones?
Off the top of my head:
King's Field 4: Literally right where you start, if you walk a few steps forward, the ground breaks open and you drop into a pit of lava and die, THEN realizing you have to go a few steps over to actually proceed from RIGHT WHERE THE GAME BEGINS.
Transformers on the NES: Right when you begin on level 1, an enemy ship thing comes at you virtually the second you start scrolling the screen. Not a game over maybe, but I'm guessing it took a few tries for most people to get past that (and then discover what crap the rest of the game was)
The Uninvited: Not bad little graphical adventure, but if you take more than three turns looking around or investigating in the car where you begin, it blows up and you die! yay!
I think Daggerfall qualifies in that it's supposed to be this epic, massive game, yet it starts you out unarmed in one of the hardest dungeons in the game as your "tutorial" I guess. | | Next | Reply - Reply With Quote | | | | |
