0 | So reposting this from my personal forum. My company has an office in Kansas City located in Overland Park. I've been toying with the idea of transferring there as I am getting tired of Texas.
So far I have been told that it's whitebread and flat. Does anyone else have some more input on it ? I don't know anyone there other than 4-5 people in my division that I speak with on conference calls.
It is whitebread and flat. You can always hop over to Lawrence, KS for the college town experience (though for some reason, doing so requires taking the only toll road in the entire midwest).
You can go to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. You can go to a Royals game and as of 3 years ago there was still a Cheesecake Factory. You can buy fireworks on the Missouri side year round.
