Quick and easy apple fritters.

0 | Just made these a few minutes ago and they're already gone.
2 cups Bisquick
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp. ginger
pinch of nutmeg
2 cups finely chopped green apple
Throw the first five things in a bowl and mix well. Fold in the apple. Drop by tablespoonful into very hot oil. When one side is medium golden brown, turn them over and cook the other side to match. Dry on paper towels.
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
enough milk to make it runny, but thick
maybe 1/8 tsp freshly grated orange peel
